| I know, I know…it’s been 7 months since my last blog post. We’ve had a lot going on. First, I just want to say that no matter what trials you face, life goes on. And we faced a few; one of which involved a change in our family dynamics at home. I won’t go into details but I’ll say it was ugly and there were times the police were involved. I even tried hiring a lawyer! As ugly as it got, we got through it. For me, I called on family and friends for support. I kept all of my therapy appointments, and I worked out a lot. Sean has his own ways of dealing with stress. He worked out a lot also. From all of that, something positive happened; I lost about 20 pounds and Sean lost over 60 pounds!! I’m so proud of him. We also changed our way of eating, so that definitely helped. We started working with a 1st Phorm Elite Trainer, who helped us with our macros. It was a hard start and we still struggle but we’ve both learned a lot about healthy eating. Unfortunately, in my zeal to get stronger, I tore a tendon in my left arm, which resulted in surgery. On top of that, I had to have a the ulnar nerve moved. I had surgery on April 8 and I’m still healing. Oh, the incisions and repair work is healed, but my arm doesn’t have full range of motion yet and lacks a lot of strength. I’m doing a lot of physical therapy, both at the clinic and at home. Painful…very painful. But I do it! I want to have full range by the end of June…we have a trip to Yellowstone planned with dear friends from Germany. I can’t wait to see them. It’s been six years!
